I initially came to the Neuro-Balance center to see Dr. Koberda beacuse I had been having debilitating bous of severe vertigo every few months for 10 years(since a severe storm on a cruise in 2000). He diagnosed me with Benign Positional Vertigo and refered me to R&R Physical Therapy. My first visit to R&R was on March 8, 2010 and Tina was my therapist. Tina introduced me to Total Motion Release exercises and then did a maneuver with my head to get the crystals in my inner ear back into place. Miraculously, I have had not one incident of even mild vertigo since that day! I also asked for help with my right knee and leg that was in a great deal of pain-stemming from an initial injury in a car accident 35 years ago(compound fracture of my right tib/fib(. I had a second surgery in 1992 when a rod was placed in my tibia. I have had pain off and on for years and was looking at probably knee replacement. In the 7 weeks I have been coming to R&R, I have learned to understand my body, and I know what to do to alleviate the knee and leg pain. All of the staff here: Tina, Don, Whitney, and Rene are knowledgeable and compassionate people who have been gentle but efffective. I am now pain free and will continue to do the exercises at home so I stay that way. My time here has been a blessing and I have already recommended R&R to many of my friends and family.
